Argentine Air Force and Navy enhance joint interoperability

The Argentine Air Force and the Argentine Navy recently held collaborative activities at the Río Cuarto Material Area to enhance joint interoperability. The meeting involved personnel from the Navy's Naval Air Force No. 3, who arrived via a P-3C Orion aircraft.

Discussions focused on the combat capabilities of the F-16M weapon system and the potential for standardizing procedures and implementing tactical networks, such as the Link-16 data link, between the two branches. Participants included pilots, sensor operators, and maintenance personnel, as well as representatives from the Navy's Training and Readiness Command, Sea Fleet Command, and Marine Infantry Command.

The encounter included simulator demonstrations related to the Air Force's Peace Condor program, which supports the operational, technological, and logistical transformation associated with the incorporation of the F-16 system. The session concluded with commitments to conduct future joint operational exercises.
