Argentine artists Maia Reficco and Emilia Mernes release new music videos

Argentine musicians Maia Reficco and Emilia Mernes have released new visual projects marking significant creative milestones.

Maia Reficco debuted the music video for “videostar,” a personal track from her debut EP, “de visita,” released via Interscope Records. Directed by Gordy De St Jeor, the video utilizes cinematic aesthetics and symbolism, including 3D representations and scenes involving plastic-wrapped furniture, to explore themes of emotional confinement and liberation.

Emilia Mernes released “Bodypainting,” a single produced by LIOHN and Zecca that signals a new era in her career. The track, which emphasizes self-expression and vocal evolution, is accompanied by a cinematic video co-directed by Martin Seipel and Melanie Anton. Set in a luxury penthouse, the visual features Mernes using her body as a canvas, including scenes where she is covered in black paint.
