Argentine athletes complete Spartathlon as Club Talleres prepares annual run

Eleven Argentine ultramarathon runners successfully completed the Spartathlon in Greece, a 248-kilometer race spanning from Athens to Sparta. Santiago Trull was the top-performing Argentine, finishing with a time of 26 hours and 20 minutes. The race concludes with a ritual where participants touch the statue of King Leonidas and receive an olive branch crown.

In local news, Club Talleres is preparing for the 44th edition of its traditional running event, scheduled for October 4. The competition features an 8-kilometer route for runners and a 4-kilometer walk for participants, alongside adapted distances for children. The event will start and end at the club's headquarters.
