Argentine authorities auction seized properties in money laundering cases
The Argentine judiciary and the State Asset Administration Agency (AABE) are conducting auctions of properties seized in connection with criminal investigations.
In Resistencia, Chaco, the 16th Civil and Commercial Court is auctioning a house located on Arbo y Blanco street. The property, situated near the National University of the Northeast (UNNE), has a starting bid of $43,333,333 pesos. The electronic auction process is open to registered bidders through the Chaco Judiciary's official portal.
In Buenos Aires, the AABE has authorized the auction of an apartment in the Villa Devoto neighborhood. This property is linked to an investigation into money laundering involving Carla Yanina Salvatore, the daughter of a key figure convicted in the ‘Carbón Blanco’ narcotics case. The apartment, located on Argerich street, has a base auction price of $69,536 USD.
This sale is part of a series of liquidations of assets seized in the same case, which includes other properties in Villa Urquiza and near Avenida Congreso. The proceeds from these auctions, after administrative costs, will be transferred to the Federal Oral Court of Resistencia or a designated authority.
