Argentine ballet artists scheduled for performances and workshops in San Juan and Lima

Argentine ballet figures are scheduled for significant cultural engagements in South America. The Buenos Aires Ballet, directed by Federico Fernández, will present its 2026 Ballet Gala in San Juan, Argentina. The performance will feature dancers from the Teatro Colón and will include classical repertoire alongside works set to the music of Astor Piazzolla.

In Peru, internationally renowned Argentine dancer Paloma Herrera will visit Lima from October 4 to October 8 to mark the 59th anniversary of the Escuela Nacional Superior de Ballet (ENSB). Herrera, a former principal dancer with the American Ballet Theater, will conduct technical classes, repertoire workshops, and discussions for students and faculty. She will also serve as the guest of honor for the institution's anniversary performance on October 7.
