The Asociación Bancaria has reached a new salary agreement with banking chambers (ABAPRA, ADEBA, and ABA) and the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic. The agreement includes a 1.7% increase for August 2026, aligning with the month's inflation rate.

With this adjustment, the initial total income for bank workers has risen to $2,577,474.74. This figure includes a basic salary of $2,505,061.24 plus a profit-sharing component (ROE) of $72,413.50. This update represents a cumulative increase of 21.3% for the first eight months of 2026 compared to December 2025 salaries.

The agreement applies to all monthly gross remunerations, including both remunerative and non-remunerative concepts, as well as conventional and non-conventional additions. Additionally, the scale for the annual Banker's Day bonus has been adjusted; for the entry-level category, the minimum bonus is now set at $2,233,175.44, subject to future inflationary adjustments.
