Argentine banks expand infrastructure in Chaco and Misiones
Nuevo Banco del Chaco (NBCH) is nearing the completion of a comprehensive renovation of its General San Martín branch. The project covers 648 square meters and focuses on modernizing customer service areas and repurposing spaces to meet digital banking demands. The renovation is part of a broader modernization plan by NBCH to improve services for merchants, businesses, and families across the province, following similar upgrades in Villa Angela, Charata, Las Breñas, Du Graty, and Fontana.
In Misiones, Governor Hugo Passalacqua attended the inauguration of a new Banco Macro branch in San Ignacio. The new facility replaces a previously rented location and features personalized service areas, commercial desks, and a 24-hour automated lobby. The building incorporates sustainable energy technology, including solar panels and batteries. The governor noted that private investment in financial infrastructure is essential for supporting the local economy, particularly the tourism, yerba mate, and timber sectors.
