Argentine basketball clubs announce new player signings

Argentine basketball clubs are strengthening their rosters for the 2026/27 Liga Nacional de Básquetbol season. Argentino de Junín has officially announced the signing of American forward Zyon Patterson. Standing 2.01 meters tall, Patterson joins from the German side EN Baskets Schwelm, where he was a top scorer averaging nearly 19 points per game.

Quimsa has also secured a new reinforcement with the signing of 25-year-old Argentine forward Facundo Rutenberg. Rutenberg joins the Santiago del Estero-based club following seven seasons with San Lorenzo. In his most recent season, he averaged 14.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. His addition bolsters Quimsa's perimeter options as they prepare for both domestic competition and the BCL Americas.
