Argentine cabinet faces negative public image in new poll

A national public opinion poll conducted by the Universidad de San Andrés has revealed a challenging landscape for President Javier Milei’s cabinet. The study, which measured the public image and recognition levels of key executive officials, found that all eleven officials evaluated possess a negative net image differential, meaning unfavorable opinions outweigh favorable ones.

The report highlights two primary difficulties for the administration. First, five of the eleven officials—Mario Lugones, Carlos Presti, Juan Bautista Mahiques, Alejandra Monteoliva, and Pablo Quirno—face high levels of public anonymity, with ignorance levels near or exceeding 50%.

Second, the net image differentials for several ministers are more negative than that of former official Manuel Adorni. Among the evaluated officials, Chief of Staff Diego Santilli holds the best position, with a 29% positive image and 50% negative image, resulting in a -21 point balance.
