Argentine communities celebrate patronal festivities

Communities in Argentina celebrated the patronal festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción on August 15 and 16.

At the Instituto Nuestra Señora de Mbororé, activities included a Holy Mass presided over by Father Juan Rodriques and a tribute to Saint Tarcisio. The event featured a community breakfast and recreational activities in the plaza with music from the 'Capitán Cayetano Silva' Military Band. The celebration concluded with a procession to return the image of the Virgin to the institute.

In French, the festivities included a procession attended by Municipal Mayor María José Gentile, followed by a Holy Mass and first communions led by Father Adolfo Petti. The weekend also featured a fair with local entrepreneurs, food stands, and performances by the Municipal Band and local singers. The community also held celebrations for Children's Day.
