Argentine culinary figures share recipes and restaurant updates

Claudia Villafañe, winner of the first Argentine edition of MasterChef Celebrity, has shared a recipe for a classic pesto sauce. Accompanied by her daughter, Dalma Maradona, Villafañe demonstrated a simple preparation method using basil, olive oil, parmesan cheese, walnuts, garlic, and salt, processed together in a mixer.

In Mallorca, Argentine chef Luciana Cárdenas is making a name for herself at the Cendra restaurant located in the Son Molí hotel in Es Pil·larí. After transitioning from a law background in Argentina to culinary studies in Spain, Cárdenas focuses on a cuisine based on smoke, embers, and 'caliu'. Her menu includes signature dishes such as homemade duck crepe cannelloni and smoked steak tartar, often incorporating Argentine influences like homemade butter.
