Argentine cultural institutions launch new art exhibitions

The Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires has launched three new contemporary art exhibitions as part of its annual federal call for projects. These exhibitions, which aim to promote the work of emerging artists from across Argentina, will be open to the public with free admission until November 8.

Featured works include “Melodía encadenada” by Andrés Aizicovich, which utilizes paintings and water-circulating installations to explore themes of memory and communication. Additionally, Manuel Sigüenza presents “Eslabón de Leyes,” an exhibition inspired by 1930s ceramics found in Santa Fe to examine the relationship between archaeological and contemporary materiality.

In Corrientes, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Corrientes is preparing for the third edition of “ArtePue.” Curated by Laura Brest, the event integrates contemporary art with live streaming to create an interactive experience. The program features various local artists from Corrientes, including photography, ceramics, and audiovisual arts, presented in a dynamic format that includes live music and performances.
