Argentine Dance and Music Events in Warsaw and Córdoba

A two‑hour Argentine folk‑dance workshop titled “Peña Argentina” was held on 22 July at the Warsaw Multicultural Centre, teaching participants two popular folk dances. The event, open to all ages, was led by longtime Argentine dancers Paulina and Alejandro.

In Córdoba, Argentina, a weekend arts programme featured a centennial tribute to composer Astor Piazzolla at the Teatro Góngora, including choir, chamber orchestra and soloists performing works such as “Estaciones Porteñas”. A free, interactive dance‑theatre piece, “Bailemos… que se acaba el mundo”, was also staged at the MMAU on 11‑12 July.
