Argentine families launch fundraising for medical treatments in Mexico
Families in Argentina are launching solidarity campaigns to fund specialized medical treatments for children in Mexico.
In Sierra Grande, Noelia Zelarrayán is raising 35,000 dollars for her son, Mateo, to undergo a 28-day Cytotron protocol. Mateo, who has cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus, was accepted into the program after a six-month evaluation process. The family aims to travel in December.
Similarly, the “Todos por Jairo” campaign seeks to raise 37,000 dollars for 6-year-old Jairo. Jairo, who suffers from neurological damage due to high bilirubin levels at birth, needs to travel to Monterrey for the second stage of a three-part treatment in January 2027. His mother, Giuliana Robledo, reported that the first stage of treatment significantly improved his quality of life by reducing spasticity and dystonia crises.
