The eighth edition of the Entre Ríos International Film Festival (Ficer) will open with the national premiere of ‘Glaxo’, directed by Benjamín Naishtat. The Argentine-Brazilian co-production, starring Lali Espósito and Marcelo Subiotto, is based on the novel by Hernán Ronsino and explores themes of friendship and betrayal in Chivilcoy. In Buenos Aires, the 21st edition of the Unusual Film Festival (Festival de Cine Inusual) concluded with its awards ceremony. ‘Yo soy Hermes’ by Gonzalo Albornoz emerged as the most decorated film, winning Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Original Music, and Best Sound.
