Argentine folk singers Maria Cuevas and Soledad Pastorutti highlighted in regional cultural events
On July 3, 2024, folklore singer María Cuevas performed in Paraná as part of the Arte en Conexión series organized by the Entre Ríos government and the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos. The concert took place in the 360° Dome at the Mirador TEC within the Parque Tecnológico and was free to the public, featuring 3‑D projection, interactive mapping and specialized sound. Cuevas sang songs reflecting the riverine and island heritage of the Litoral region, accompanied by a band of pianists and guitarists.
Separately, Argentine star Soledad Pastorutti made an unannounced visit to Ushuaia, attending the Festival of the Longest Night as a spectator. She joined the jury for Cadena 3’s “Sueños de Radio” youth initiative, praising three local schools for their cultural projects and expressing gratitude for the warm reception she receives across the country.
