Argentine folklore artists discuss musical heritage and career milestones

Argentine singer and composer Fiorel, born Fiorela De Benedictis, is exploring her artistic identity through Argentine folklore. In her recent project, Crezco del viento, she collaborates with Sol Portillo and Martín Quaglia to create an intimate musical experience. As the daughter of musician Piero, she describes music as a refuge and a personal language that connects generations.

In a separate reflection on her career, folklore singer Soledad Pastorutti discussed her past foray into acting. Pastorutti recalled her role in the television production Rincón de luz, produced by Cris Morena, where she starred alongside Guido Kaczka. She noted that the project, which featured a fictional romance between her character and Kaczka's, was eventually cancelled due to low ratings and contractual obligations regarding her music career.
