Argentine football clubs announce new player signings

Argentine football clubs have announced new player signings for the upcoming season.

Estudiantes de La Plata has officially presented offensive midfielder Baltasar Rodríguez. Rodríguez signed a four-year contract with the club after Estudiantes reached an agreement with Racing to acquire 50% of his rights. The former Inter Miami player successfully passed medical examinations and has joined training under manager Alexander "Cacique" Medina.

Gimnasia y Esgrimade Mendoza has secured offensive midfielder Matías Vargas on a two-year contract. Vargas, who most recently played for Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia, chose Mendoza despite a formal offer from his former club, Vélez Sarsfield. He joins the club following a period of international play that included time at Espanyol de Barcelona.
