Argentine football clubs finalize transfer market moves

Argentine football clubs are navigating the final stages of the transfer market with several key movements. Estudiantes is close to finalizing the signing of midfielder Jalil Elías from Tigre to provide depth in the central midfield position.

River Plate is evaluating two offers for defender Lucas Martínez Quarta. Genoa has proposed a permanent transfer, while Al Sadd has presented a loan deal with a $5 million purchase obligation.

Independiente is managing significant roster changes. The club is negotiating for midfielder Elián Irala from Shabab Al-Ahli, though concerns remain regarding his recent lack of playing time. Additionally, the club completed the sale of defender Kevin Lomónaco to Elche for $5.5 million. A significant portion of these funds will be used to settle existing debts with Elche and Red Bull Bragantino.

Meanwhile, Boca Juniors is considering Luciano Acosta from Fluminense as a potential replacement for the injured Tomás Aranda.
