Argentine football clubs hold commemorative events

Argentine sports clubs held commemorative events to honor their history and key figures. Club Centro Social y Deportivo Brinkmann hosted a celebration featuring a historical exhibition of its 14 championships, including trophies and jerseys. The event honored the 60th and 50th anniversaries of the club's 1966 and 1976 titles. Special recognition was given to Rubén Tavano, who was named ‘Socio Deportista Honorario’ for his two decades of service to the first division team.

At Club Sportivo Barracas, the community gathered at the Roberto ‘Tito’ Pérez stadium for a dual tribute. The club inaugurated a mural dedicated to Federico ‘Totono’ Delgado, a creator of the club's official social media presence. Additionally, the club held a farewell match for player Mariano Sánchez, attended by former players, club officials, and supporters.
