Argentine Gendarmería Seizes 58 kg of Cocaine in Roldán Raids

The National Gendarmerie (Gendarmería Nacional) carried out simultaneous raids in the town of Roldán, Santa Fe Province, as part of the investigation into a small aircraft intercepted in May that had transported more than 321 kg of cocaine to a field in Villa Eloísa. Agents uncovered 58 kg 823 g of cocaine hidden in a vacant lot, along with 16 500 USD, 335 000 Argentine pesos, 140 Brazilian reais, 48 firearms of various calibers, 20 cartridges, a Ford EcoSport, a precision balance, mobile phones and other items of interest. One adult man was detained on a drug‑law violation. The operation was coordinated by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office under PROCUNAR, with support from the Rosario Antidrogas Investigation Unit and oversight by the Rosario Court of Guarantees.
