Argentine governors to attend Federal Logistics Summit in Buenos Aires
The Federal Logistics Summit, organized by the Federal Investment Council (CFI), is scheduled to take place on October 16 at the Buenos Aires Convention Center (CEC). The event, titled ‘Towards competitive logistics for federal development’, aims to address national and provincial challenges regarding infrastructure, transport, and connectivity.
At least seven subnational leaders have confirmed attendance, including Axel Kicillof (Buenos Aires), Alberto Weretilneck (Río Negro), Rolando Figueroa (Neuquén), Rogelio Frigerio (Entre Ríos), Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), Carlos Sadir (Jujuy), and Juan Pablo Valdés (Corrientes). High-ranking officials such as Chief of Staff Diego Santilli and potentially Minister of Deregulation Federico Sturzenegger are also expected to participate.
The summit will feature five panels with representatives from both the public and private sectors. Key discussion topics include ports, transport routes, mining, and the Vaca Muerta region. The CFI's Federal Logistics Strategy seeks to connect provinces with international financing through a shared roadmap.
