Argentine Gravel Championship held in Sierra de los Padres

The Argentine Gravel Championship took place in Sierra de los Padres, Mar del Plata, as part of the Mar del Plata BIKEFEST. The event featured various disciplines, including the National Youth Games, the Gravel Championship, the Gravel Sprint, and the Rally Championship.

In the Master A category, cyclist Abdías Lescano secured third place, earning a bronze medal in his debut in this discipline. Due to weather conditions and poor terrain, the original 81-kilometer course was modified to a 72-kilometer route consisting of four laps of a 17.5-kilometer circuit. The course presented significant challenges due to mud on rural roads and trails.

Other participants, including Marcos Lobosco, competed in the event following intensive training preparations.
