Argentine industrial parks expand through new land allocations and investments

Industrial parks in Argentina are experiencing varying levels of growth and investment. In Rawson, the Consorcio del Parque Industrial de Rawson (COPIR) recently delivered eight new plots to local entrepreneurs, primarily in the transport and heavy machinery sectors. These plots are intended for the construction of warehouses to prevent vehicles from being stored on public roads. COPIR officials report approximately 25 active projects and ten ongoing constructions, with plans to deliver an additional eight to ten plots before the end of the year.

In Tres Arroyos, the industrial park continues to maintain activity despite economic challenges. While one company recently relocated its production to Brazil, the park hosts approximately 100 firms. A new agreement with the company Tostex aims to relocate part of its production to the park using new technology and machinery from China, a move projected to create roughly 100 jobs. There are currently 15 plots available in Tres Arroyos, with several companies expressing interest in relocating to the area.
