Argentine judicial bodies adopt AI and digital tools

Judicial authorities in Argentina are implementing new technological tools to modernize legal processes. The Federal Board of Courts and Superior Tribunals of the Argentine Provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (JUFEJUS) held a training session for high court judges regarding Meta’s digital tools. Led by JUFEJUS President Emilia María Valle, the session focused on content moderation, user security, encryption in platforms like WhatsApp, and protection standards for minors.

In Córdoba, the Provincial Judiciary launched Jurisemia, an AI-powered search engine available to the public. This semantic search tool allows citizens to query provincial court rulings and decisions using everyday language rather than complex legal terminology. The system uses natural language processing to prioritize relevant documents while maintaining strict data anonymization and privacy protocols on provincial servers.
