Argentine kickboxing delegation prepares for World Championship in Colombia

An Argentine kickboxing delegation, including members of Team Mellado from Comodoro Rivadavia, is preparing to compete in the World Kickboxing Federation (WKF) World Championship. The event is scheduled to take place in Cartagena, Colombia, from October 19 to 24.

Team Mellado, led by instructor Alejandro Mellado, plans to send 11 competitors to represent both their city and Argentina across various categories. The delegation is set to depart on October 16 to join the national selection. Athletes participating include Camila Jaramillo, Luciano García, Ciro Barrientos, Mía Cerezo, Mahia Ferreyra, Sofía Soto, Guiliana Cerezo, Candela Vargas, Beto Soto, Thiago Muñoz, and Julieta Fernández.

Additionally, athlete Roberto Leguizamón from Rivadavia will join the national team to compete in the international tournament. The IFAM institution expressed pride in the team's participation as they prepare to represent the country on the global stage.
