An Opina Argentina survey reveals that 60% of citizens expect their personal economic situation to worsen in the coming months, the highest level of pessimism since the end of the previous administration. Approximately 48% of respondents reported being unable to make ends meet, and 75% have ceased spending on leisure activities.
Labor concerns are mounting. Unemployment has emerged as the primary concern for 36% of the population, followed by corruption. Industrial sectors report that insufficient domestic demand is the main barrier to production, with 52.9% of manufacturing firms citing this as their primary constraint. This has led to projections of reduced staffing and working hours in the manufacturing sector.
