Argentine municipalities expand community alarm security networks

Municipalities in Argentina are expanding community security networks through the installation of new neighborhood alarm systems.

In Luján, ten new devices have been installed as part of the ‘Luján Alerta 24’ prevention and response plan, with an additional 21 units scheduled for installation. The system, which includes a dedicated mobile application, allows residents to trigger audible and visual signals in response to suspicious or risky situations, alerting local monitoring services. The expansion covers various sectors including Valle Verde, Lezica, Pueblo Nuevo, Tala, and several central areas.

In La Cumbre, nine new community alarms were activated in the central ring of the town. These devices were managed by the local municipality in coordination with the Ministry of Security of the Province of Córdoba to strengthen local security management.
