Argentina regional updates: infrastructure and public services
Various regional administrative and infrastructure developments are underway across Argentina. In Tres Arroyos, authorities are conducting inspections of school kitchens to ensure food quality, storage conditions, and expiration date compliance for student meals.
In San Juan, the government is renovating the Dr. René Favaloro Training Center (CARF) in Rawson, which includes constructing a new pediatric sector. Additionally, Vice Governor Fabián Martín visited Jáchal to oversee community works, educational projects, and water prevention measures along the Jáchal River to mitigate El Niño-related risks.
In Quilmes, the municipality is utilizing 100% local funds for several projects. These include the completion of the Acceso Sudeste road infrastructure, which was previously abandoned by the national government, and the renovation of the CAPS Bernal Oeste health center. Further municipal works include the paving of 15 blocks in the El Sol neighborhood. Meanwhile, food safety training programs are being offered in coordination with the Province of Buenos Aires to ensure compliance with national food handling standards.
