Ushuaia commemorates International Day of Peace

The Municipality of Ushuaia held a ceremony to commemorate the International Day of Peace, bringing together various local institutions and organizations. The event focused on promoting dialogue, respect, and solidarity as essential elements for community coexistence.

Participants included municipal officials such as David Ferreyra, Secretary of Environmental, Cultural, and Educational Policies, and Omar Becerra, Secretary of Parliamentary Relations and Political Articulation. Other attendees included Silvina Biott from the Peace Movement of the Argentine Republic, along with representatives from organizations such as Mil Milenios de Paz, Paz Austral, Croatas en Argentina, and 100 Poetas por la Paz. The ceremony emphasized the importance of building bridges and fostering a more just and supportive society through collective commitment.
