Argentine municipalities launch productivity programs for food producers and airport operations

The Municipality of Río Grande held a second training session for local food producers, covering cost analysis, expense planning and entrepreneurship tools as part of its food‑sovereignty strategy. Secretary of Productive Development Facundo Armas said the municipality aims to help producers “plan better, become more profitable and strengthen their enterprises” amid an economic crisis.

In Rosario, the Red de Instituciones por la Producción de Rosario convened a working group to propose a new management model for the International Airport Rosario “Islas Malvinas”. Participants examined concession options, a new corporate structure and the need for a stable state policy to attract investors, targeting an estimated 1.5 million passengers annually. The group plans to request a meeting with the Santa Fe government to advance the concession proposal and boost regional connectivity.
