Argentine musicians Osvaldo Chávez and Jairo announce new musical projects
Argentine musicians Osvaldo Chávez and Jairo are advancing their musical careers with new projects.
Osvaldo Chávez, a 74-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Federación, has released a new recording titled ‘Me Dicen El Panza Verde’. The track is a reinterpretation of a regional work originally written by poet Víctor Abel Jiménez. Chávez, who has a history of performing with notable figures such as Hugo del Carril, also announced that five original compositions are currently in production for future release.
Singer Jairo is preparing the second volume of his ‘50 años de música’ album. This project features re-recordings of his hits alongside various artists from different generations. A preview of the upcoming work is the song ‘Chacarera de las piedras’, written by Atahualpa Yupanqui, which features a collaboration with Ricardo Mollo of the rock group Divididos.
