Argentine Navy provides logistics to Santa Fe for El Niño preparedness

The Argentine Navy has placed logistical resources at the disposal of the Santa Fe Province to prepare for potential emergencies caused by the El Niño phenomenon. Following a meeting led by Minister of Government and Public Innovation Fabián Bastia, authorities coordinated actions to strengthen prevention and response capabilities.

As part of this initiative, the multipurpose vessel ARA ‘Ciudad de Zárate’ and the patrol boat ARA ‘Punta Mogotes’ are scheduled to dock at the Port of Santa Fe from October 13 to 15. During this period, the community will be able to access sanitary, educational, and emergency response resources.

The provincial government is also prioritizing the mitigation of El Niño's effects through water and road works, canal cleaning, and the reinforcement of defenses.
