Argentine police seize cocaine and make arrests in Buenos Aires and Neuquén raids
Police in Buenos Aires seized 35 g of base paste, 119 g of marijuana and 99 g of cocaine after raiding two homes in the capital. The operation led to the arrest of a 30‑year‑old woman and a 28‑year‑old man, and the seizure of cash, a cellphone, bicycles and other items linked to drug trafficking.
In Cutral Co, Neuquén province, a coordinated anti‑narcotics sweep resulted in the confiscation of more than 300 doses of powdered cocaine, cannabis plant material, five million pesos in cash, vehicles, phones and surveillance equipment. Four adults were charged with drug‑related offenses. Both operations were carried out after community reports and digital tip‑lines helped identify the locations.
The raids illustrate continued police efforts against street‑level drug networks in Argentina, targeting small‑scale distribution and the surrounding cash flow.
