Argentine Primera División clubs face injury setbacks ahead of Clausura matches

Estudiantes de Río Cuarto will be without three regulars for its upcoming league clash with Banfield. Forward Martín Garnerone, midfielder Alejandro Cabrera and winger Mauro Valiente are all sidelined with various muscle injuries, with Garnerone expected to need the longest recovery.

Atlético Tucumán have cleared two players for their Thursday visit to Central Córdoba. Julián Fernández and Ignacio Galván are now registered and eligible to play, while new defender Juan Rodríguez has signed after passing his medical.
