Argentine Primera Nacional clubs appoint new coaches amid relegation battles
Gabriel Gómez has been re‑appointed as head coach of Agropecuario in the Primera Nacional. The veteran manager, who previously led the club from 2022 to 2024 and most recently coached Almagro, returns to try to lift Agropecuario from the bottom of Zone B after a 2‑0 defeat left the team last‑placed with 18 points and 18 games remaining.
Daniel Cravero begins his third stint as head coach of Chaco For Ever, also in the Primera Nacional. He takes charge with the objective of escaping the last place in Zone A, supported by a staff that includes assistants Claudio Spontón and Franco Turus, fitness coach Richard Meyer, and goalkeeper trainer Pablo Torresagasti. Cravero’s first match will be against Acassuso in about ten days.
Both clubs are seeking immediate improvements to avoid relegation in Argentina’s second‑tier league.
