Argentine provinces announce health and housing infrastructure investments
The La Pampa government has launched a bidding process for the comprehensive renovation of the Abudara Oncology and Rehabilitation Center in General Pico. With an official budget of 743 million pesos, seven companies have submitted bids for the project. The works will cover 935 square meters and include repairs to roofs, electrical and sanitary installations, heating systems, and bathrooms to improve patient care and working conditions.
In Neuquén, the provincial government is constructing a new Housing Inclusion Device (DIH) in Zapala to support mental health recovery and community inclusion. The project involves an investment of over 1.159 billion pesos and is currently 11% complete, with an expected completion date in March 2027. The facility will provide a secure environment for individuals undergoing outpatient treatment or transitioning from mental health institutions, featuring individual rooms, common areas, and dining spaces.
