Argentine provinces launch free music production and training programs

Two provincial cultural programs in Argentina have opened calls for musicians to access free professional training and production resources.

In Río Negro, the “Río Negro Suena” program, led by the Secretaría de Cultura, is offering musicians and bands free studio recording time. Beyond technical recording, the initiative provides workshops on music production, copyright, digital platform positioning, and artistic project management. The program is open to residents of General Roca and throughout the Río Negro province, with applications conducted virtually.

In Santa Fe, the Ministry of Culture has launched the second annual call for the “Re-Suena” program. Aimed at youth aged 16 to 30, the program offers free workshops through the “Trayecto Re-Suena” and complementary training tracks. These sessions focus on musical production, artistic practice, and collective project work. Training will take place at Plataforma Lavardén in Rosario and the Centro Cultural Provincial in Santa Fe, with online registration open until August 31.
