Argentine rally racing updates: Villano leads AH class and Laguna Larga hosts new event

The Rally Mar y Sierras championship has updated its standings following the double date in Arrecifes. Lisandro Villano leads the Clase A Histórica (AH) category with 102 points, supported by navigator Enzo Arriola, who holds 96 points in the AH navigator standings.

In other categories, Braian Ferreyra leads the RC2S navigator table with 109 points, while Yamina Ferreyra holds second place in the MCMR class with 32 points. In the N1 category, Echeveste leads with 143 points, and Oscar Ferreyra sits in second with 62 points.

Separately, the Rally Cordobés provincial championship returns to action in Laguna Larga for its seventh round of the 2026 season. The event features 66 registered teams, including international participants from Spain and Uruguay. The competition includes 93.21 km of special stages and 147.27 km of liaison sections, with activities scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 26, in Manfredi and conclude on Sunday, September 27, in Laguna Larga and Costa Sacate.
