Argentine regional programs distribute free eyeglasses to residents and students

Various regional programs in Argentina are distributing free eyeglasses to improve visual health and educational outcomes.

In the San Juan province, Governor Marcelo Orrego led the delivery of 1,050 pairs of monofocal and bifocal glasses to 863 residents in the San Martín department. The initiative, part of the ‘Te Veo Bien’ program, aims to ensure equal access to health services and improve the daily quality of life for citizens of all ages.

In the Tigre district, the ‘Para Verte Mejor’ program distributed 74 pairs of glasses to students at three primary schools in El Talar and Benavídez. This initiative has provided more than 900 pairs of glasses so far this year, assisting families with the costs of optical correction and supporting students' ability to concentrate and learn in school.
