Argentine skaters excel at National Absolute Championship

Argentine artistic skaters achieved notable success at the 2026 National Absolute Championship held in San Juan.

Lara González Redes, representing Patin Eldorado Skating from the Club Unión Cultural y Deportivo Eldorado, was crowned National Champion in the Mandatory Figures modality within the A Elite Senior category. This victory completes a perfect national season for González Redes, who secured gold in the Opening Tournament, the Closing Tournament, and the National Absolute Tournament.

Additionally, Iara Ferreyra, representing Trebolense, secured a position among the top four skaters in the country in the WS Infantil category. Competing at the Estadio Multipropósito Vicente A. Chancay, Ferreyra performed in both the short and long programs to achieve her national ranking.
