Regional sports updates: Biguá wins basketball title and Patriotas Boyacá triumphs in football

Various regional sports results were recorded across Argentina and Colombia. In women’s basketball, Biguá secured the Liga Regional championship after defeating Pacífico 78-60, led by 18-point performances from Valeria Fernández and Agustina Jourdheuil.

In men’s basketball, El Tala continued a strong run in the Liga Provincial de Mayores with an 83-79 away victory against Acción Juvenil. Meanwhile, El Nacional maintained an undefeated streak in the Segunda División with a 100-72 win over La Falda.

In football, Patriotas Boyacá climbed the standings in the Torneo BetPlay 2026-II after a 2-0 victory against Atlético FC in Tunja, with goals from Fernando Torres and Kevin Álvarez.
