Argentine stars drive World Cup corset craze as Pampita, Sol Pérez and Coty Romero showcase designs

Argentina’s leading entertainers have turned the 2026 World Cup into a fashion statement, wearing bespoke corsets that echo the national team’s colors and symbols. Pampita debuted a strapless albiceleste corset designed by New‑York‑based Abel Cepeda, featuring the AFA badge, black detailing and a prominent number 10. Sol Pérez transformed an Argentina jersey into a draped corset with sparkle accents, created by designer Milagros Ad, while Coty Romero sported a crop‑style corset made by Hijasdesign from an alternate national shirt, displaying the official shield in blue, white and French‑blue on a dark base.

These outfits quickly became a viral trend on social media, appearing in posts, events and television segments such as Gran Hermano. The pieces blend sensual glamour with overt national pride, reinforcing the “Scaloneta” identity of the Argentine squad and sparking a wave of similar designs among other celebrities and fashion influencers.
