Argentine students lead environmental conservation and cleanup efforts
Various environmental initiatives led by students are taking place across Argentina. In Catriel, the Departamento Provincial de Aguas (DPA) is organizing the first Water Care Workshop for fourth and fifth-grade primary school students. The program uses interactive games and experiments to teach children about the water cycle, its importance to life, and the necessity of responsible usage in homes and schools.
In Tandil, approximately 300 students participated in the second edition of Clean Up Joven Tandil at Parque Independencia. The cleanup effort, organized by the group Impacta, resulted in the removal of 940 kilograms of waste. The initiative involved collaboration between educational institutions, local businesses, and the Tandil Municipality to promote reflection on consumption habits and waste management.
