Argentine students qualify for national science and robotics competitions
Educational science fairs in Argentina have selected several student projects to advance to national competitions. In Catamarca, 17 projects were chosen from 100 competing teams to represent the province in the 2026 National Science Fair. Organized by the Ministry of Education and Labor, the provincial stage included students from initial, primary, secondary, and higher education levels, focusing on the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
In Santiago del Estero, the Colegio Secundario Divino Corazón Jesús from El Bobadal achieved significant recognition at the XXIII Provincial Science and Technology Fair. The institution presented eight projects, with two specifically qualifying for the national stage: ‘Genesis: Latidos de la Tierra Vieja’ in the science category and ‘Scroll, Gráficos y Acción: Datos Virales’ in mathematics. Additionally, the ‘Renecito’ robotics project from Colegio Secundario Doctor René Favaloro in La Banda has been invited to participate in the National Robotics League in Misiones.
