Argentine towns celebrate anniversaries and honor local citizens

The Argentine towns of Copetonas and Pampa de los Guanacos held anniversary celebrations to honor their local history and community members.

In Copetonas, officials including Mayor Pablo Garate and Municipal Delegate Manuel Reynoso led ceremonies to recognize citizens who have contributed to the town's identity. A commemorative plaque was unveiled to honor Beatriz Piñero, Rine Scigalszky, Eva Lacave, Yolanda Gaitán, and Miguel Martínez. The event also included tributes to Malvinas War veterans Blas Fernández and Roberto Andersen.

Pampa de los Guanacos marked its 94th anniversary with a central ceremony attended by Mayor María Ferreyra, provincial deputies, and various local authorities. The celebration included a special recognition of Malvinas veteran Oscar Alberto Montenegro and honored individuals who contributed to the town's development through their work and dedication.
