Argentine universities achieve success in national legal competitions

Several Argentine universities have secured notable placements in national legal competitions. The Law Faculty of Unicen won the first Interuniversity Human Rights Competition organized by the Universidad Nacional de Catamarca. The Unicen delegation took first place, with Sofía Bugliese Arana receiving a distinction for best speaker. The competition involved a simulated litigation before the Inter-American System of Human Rights regarding the rights of migrant children in a fictional border province.

In a separate event, the Universidad de Concepción del Uruguay (UCU) reached the semifinals of the XVI National University Criminal Litigation Contest held at the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste in Corrientes. The UCU team joined the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and the Universidad Nacional del Sur as one of the four semifinalists in the competition.
