Argentine universities announce enrollment periods

Argentine universities have announced enrollment periods for upcoming academic cycles.

The Universidad Nacional de Río Negro (UNRN) in Bariloche has opened applications for its Medicine program. The registration process is entirely virtual and remains open until October 16. The program focuses on primary health care, community work, and integral health in urban and rural settings. An obligatory entrance course will begin virtually in October, with in-person classes scheduled for February 2027. Students currently in their final year of secondary school are eligible to begin the course this October.

Meanwhile, the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) has scheduled its enrollment period for the 2027 cycle from November 9 to December 11. Applicants must apply through virtual forms on the specific websites of the 17 faculties. UNLP policy dictates that applicants may only apply to a single career at this institution; any prior registration for 2027 at another national university will disqualify the applicant from enrolling at UNLP.
