Argentine universities host forums on artificial intelligence and innovation

Academic institutions in Argentina are hosting events focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on society, education, and the workforce.

In Tierra del Fuego, AI specialist Lidia Seratti conducted a series of lectures organized by FUNDATEC. Speaking at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Seratti addressed the evolution of large language models (LLM) and the ethical, social, and labor challenges posed by generative AI. The sessions targeted students, teachers, and university members to discuss directing AI development toward the common good.

In Santa Fe, the Universidad Católica de Santa Fe (UCSF) held its 3rd Innovation and Technology Congress, titled ‘Designing the future: artificial intelligence, creativity and impact’. Organized by the UCSF Innovation and AI Laboratory (LIIA) and the Monseñor Carlos Macagno School, the event focused on secondary school students. The congress explored the opportunities and challenges of innovation, AI, and professional entrepreneurship in the modern world.
