Latin American institutions launch AI training initiatives
Various educational and professional institutions across Latin America are launching initiatives to address the impact of artificial intelligence.
In Argentina, the Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero (UNSE) has begun a seminar on technological surveillance and data science. Meanwhile, the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNICEN) is promoting a specialized course on AI applied to healthcare to address ethical, regulatory, and clinical challenges. Additionally, the Comuna de Humboldt, in collaboration with the Universidad Nacional de Rafaela (UNRaf), is hosting training sessions focused on how AI affects employability and professional development.
In Paraguay, the company Personal organized the third edition of 'Encuentros 4.0' at the Universidad Nacional de Asunción. The event brought together academic, public, and private sector leaders to discuss how to leverage AI to create new opportunities for national development and professional growth.
